Union Township has over twenty-seven mile of roads and streets to maintain for the enjoyment and safety of the residents and the motoring public. The types are comprised of country road, city streets, cul-de-sacs, and developments. Some roads are entirely within the township while others are only partially so, beginning or ending in the City of Washington or a bordering township. Additionally Federal, State, and County highways serve the area.

The township maintains the following roads and streets in part or whole:

Adams Drive, Allemang Drive, Armbrust Road, Barbara Lane, Bell Avenue, Bulldog Court, Bush Road, Canterbury Place, Charity Court, Clybourne Avenue, Country Manner Drive, Culpepper Trace, Curtis Street, Dennis Street, Dickey Road, Forest Street, Genevieve Drive, Grace Street, Hawthorn Drive, Hickory Lane, Hoppes Road, Hess Road,  Joann Drive, Jonesboro Road, Leslie Trace, Meadow Drive, Magnolia Place, Main Street, Maple Way, Mark Road, Maywood Court, Mt. Olive Road, North Bend Court, Panther Court, Peddicord Avenue, Rowe-Ging Road, Spring Lake Avenue,  South Court, Tiger Court, Trace Court, Warrior Court, Wilson-Silcott Road.
