Elected Officials
The Ohio Revised Code provides that four non-partisan township offices are filled in the general election in the uneven numbered years. Terms are staggered with the fiscal officer and one trustee elected and two years later the other two trustees offices are filled. The fiscal officer's primary duties consist of keeping the financial accounts of the township. Trustees responsibilities vary from administrative to laborer. While of varied interests and backgrounds, the officials of Union Township all posses a desire to aid the people of the community.
